Star theHunter: Call of the wild

cool niche game with great expandability and transparent & fair DLC pricing, politics. Solid base game and immersive gameplay loop, rewarding achievements and missions. Starting off is difficult, especially without consuming related content and without DLCs. They absolutely help you reach your goals much faster. Can't wait to explore more and kil more animal.

utter garbage game, only left it to run so I could post a review. Usually you expect a title in early access to be at least remotely playable. The premise of the game is to be able to drive anywhere in the real world, using Google's Earth dataset. Obviously, there is API cost involved. So, it makes sense for the game to charge money to give you the ability to use this feature. This in-game store is implemented already. Unfortunately, WHATEVER YOU PUT INTO THE SEARCH BOX, IT SPAWNS YOU IN THE SAME AREA. This area barely loads and the driving mechanics are fucked beyond belief. This game is not in a BETA, its in early early pre-alpha development stages AT BEST. Garbage cashgrab mess of a "game". At least there are no memory leaks.

Star Baldur's Gate 3

What a refreshing experience - from the first cutscene and the first moment, this game feels like something few productions of the last decade have managed to achieve - finished. The narration and writing is great, sound production stellar, music and graphics both fitting and masterfully executed. It runs great and gives you all of the choices you want to make and then some. The only time I was missing options was at the harpy beach, but it lead to a more interesting outcome in this case. I have encountered a couple of annoying bugs here and there but playing still fills me with joy, even though I generally don't like this style of game at all. It's worth it, even at full price. I just hope they at least fix the bugs in the first act very soon. Being softlocked out of one of the first missions in a game is never a good look.

"Barely any introduction or anything meaningful at all. Obviously trying to be the next Papers, Please but is an overpriced mobile demo (14$). Game tries to establish meaningful choices and depth, but fails at the tutorial stage and doesn't explain anything. Soundtrack is repetitive and boring. Decent atmosphere, nice consistent graphics. Weird UI interactions and no sense in treatment placement (store and storage are the same place, press X to exit the store but drag to equip?)"

Curator Review:

“No tutorial, inconsistent UIX choices. No depth or meaningful explanation at all. Blatant "Papers Please" clone at three times the price. Atmosphere is nice, soundtrack unremarkable at best.”

"Rockstar Launcher forced onto the player, shit online-only launchers have now sadly taken over the gaming world with the most obnoxious examples being Uplay, EA Origin, Battle.net, Paradox Interactive, and, of course, Rockstar. I cannot recommend any game that comes with garbage spyware like this. Online-Only in RDR2 is anti-consumer as fuck. Forced DRM no matter what. The Online mode is a disaster and it's no wonder no one except for cheaters is playing it. Buggy and crashes everywhere years after release. PC version unplayable on controller, horse controls suck ass more than the bs NumPad heli controls in GTAV. I do not want to create an account to play the game I purchased. What a mess."

Curator Review:

“Years after release and still a steaming pile of buggy, unoptimized garbage. Horse controls suck ass, unplayable on controller. Graphics ripped from GTA and washed out filter applied. Shit online mode”

"Horrible performance, abysmal network coding and bugs present since release in a DECADE old game. Unbalanced dinos, admin abuse and grinding on official servers, selling DLC during EA. Starting a server takes 5+ minutes on SSD and graphics have to be turned up all the way to not absolutely suck ass. Bloated game and maps. Basic functionality such as consistent keybinds or enter to confirm not implemented after a decade. Frequent crashes for most players, unable to join servers for a half hour (default) afterwards.
I have no idea how this got any popularity at all. I got it for free and this garbage of a "game" just offends me.
DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Curator review:

"Horrible performance, unfixed bugs in a decade-old game. Unbalanced dinos, admin abuse on official servers. Starting a server takes 5+ minutes on NVMe. Bloated game and maps, DLC sold in EA. Dogshit."

"Does what it does and does it quite well. Epic house building in different environments. FPS are mid, wall clips do happen occasionally. Decent economy, nice decorations available. Cop for 10$ or less"

"Terrible saving mechanics, decisions make no difference in the story. bow and arrow collision and handling is the biggest nightmare. Impossible RNG shooting and fights. Fully maxed out my "army" in the bandit village fight and they all ignore archers & die. When I selected less soldiers we got further with more men left. What a fucking joke. Still buggy after 5+ years and broken promises of expansions and large scale battles. Every single enemy hits you from behind while sprinting full speed away from him."

Curator review:

"broken promises of expansions, garbage arrow hitboxes & swortfights and overall a buggy mess with 10fps cutscenes."
