However, this is not the case here. While there's an option to purchase virtual "helpers" and in-game currency, it doesn't give any significant advantage to any player. The proven principle of loadout cards is employed here: by progressing in the game, players obtain these cards that provide a fixed arsenal of weapons. Thus, it's impossible to assemble super weapons purchased with real money and further upgraded with overpowered enhancements.
All that remains for me to say is that, after about 50 hours of gameplay, I've done my best in this review to substantiate my positive rating with arguments as I see fit.
My conclusion: Dirty Bomb clearly stands out from the vast array of free games by offering the quality of modern, paid titles for free.

Das Spiel ist für ein kostenloses Spiel grafisch enorm aufwendig gestaltet und auch das Mapdesign erfreut (bis auf eine Ausnahme) das Herz eines jeden Spielers, bei dem auch der taktische Aspekt eines Spiels nicht zu kurz kommen darf. Einzig zu bemängeln ist da die doch recht dürftige Auswahl an Spielmodi, für mich persönlich erfreulich ist hierbei noch einmal der fortgeführte Elan der Entwickler, denn kein stumpfer und ausgelutschter Spielmodus ist vorhanden, die wenigen bestehenen (4 an der Zahl, der vierte ist erst ab der Spielerstufe 7 verfügbar) konzentrieren sich sehr auf die Zusammenarbeit des Teams, es geht um die gemeinsame Erfüllung sogennanter Objectives, also taktischen Zielen. Beispiele hierfür sind beispielsweise das Platzieren eines Sprengsatzes an einer Mauser, wodurch sich für das Kampfgeschehen weitere, immer interessant gehaltene Teile der unterschiedlichen Kampfschauplätze erschließen. Sehr interessant ist ein weiterer Spielmodus, der keine "Wiederauferstehung" zulässt, wie sie meist in anderen Modi vieler anderer Spiele im Genre unterstützt wird. Der Modus bietet das vertraute Ziel der oben genannten Objectives, einzig die Zeitspanne, die Zum Erreichen des hier einzigen Ziels ist knapp gehalten. Der Spielmodus ist in den Grundzügen mit beispielsweise Elimination im Call-Of-Duty-Franchise zu vergleichen, jedoch steckt das Erreichen der Ziele ein höheres Ziel als das Bloße Ausrotten der gegnerischen Mannschaft, wobei diese Möglichkeit des Gewinns in Dirty Bomb ebenfalls offensteht. Schließlich und endlich möchte ich nun alle beschwichtigen, die hierbei nur ein weiteres Pay-to-win-Spiel sehen, das Prinzip ist ja leider auch zu meinem persönlichen Leidwesen immer weiter in den Vordergrund der Welt der kostenlosen Spiele getreten. Hier jedoch nicht. Es steht zwar die Option des Erwerbs von virtuellen "Helferlein" und der im Spiel verwendeten Währung offen, jedoch ist dies keine Beschränkung oder ein gravierender Vorteil für irgendeinen Spieler, dennn das bewährte Prinzip der Loadout-Karten wird hier verwendet: Durch Fortschritt im Spiel erhält man solche Karten, worauf ein festes Waffenarsenal vorgegeben ist. Somit können keine mit echtem Geld gekaufte Über-Waffen zusammengestellt werden, die mit Über-Powerups noch einmal aufgewertet wurden.
Nun bleibt mir nur noch zu sagen, dass ich nach etwa 50 Spielstunden hier in dieser Rezension bein Bestes gegeben habe, meiner guten Bewertung mit Argumenten nach meinem Ermessen Nachdruck zu verleihen.
Mein Fazit: Dirty Bomb sticht klar aus dem gigantischen Angebot an kostenlosen Spielen hervor, da es die Qualität moderner, kostenpflichtiger Titel gratis auf den Markt bringt.

Ich habe (sehr zu meinem Bedauern) zuerst Fallout 4 und dann erst 3 gespielt. Was mir hier direkt auffiel war, dass es keine absolut langweilige Anfangsscheiße (Preston Garvey, Codsworth, Minutemen, Siedlung bauen) gibt. Ebenfalls war ich positiv davon überrascht, dass man sich die Powerrüstung erst im Laufe des Spiels verdienen muss. Leider hatte ich während des Spielens von FO3 teilweise absolut keine Lust die Nebenquests z erledigen, da die Haupthandlung (vor allem gegen Ende) so fesselnd war, weshab ich dann auch nach bereits 18 Stunden Spielzeit mit Level 12 am Ende stand . Alle, die das Spiel gespielt haben, können verstehen, wieso ich erst einmal ein paar Speicherpunkte zurückgegangen bin und jetz dabei bin, die Welt zu erkunden und ein paar Nebenquests mache. Das Ende kam wirklich sehr unerwartet, passt sich aber wirklich gut in die gesamte Geschichte ein. Ich weiß nicht, ob es nur an meiner mickrigen Spielzeit liegt, aber mir fällt auf, dass es bei Weitem weniger Waffen und auch Variabilität gibt, was überraschenderweise nicht einmal schlecht ist. Das sehe ich bei FO4 anders, hier habe ich die unterschioedlichsten Varianten der unterschiedlichsten Waffen aus den diversesten Mods. Apropos Mods: Ich sehe ihren Stellenwert bei FO4 höher, hier ist das Open-World- und Sandbox-Element vor allem nach Abschluss der Handlung sehr wichtig, um nicht in Monotonie zu versinken. Bei FO3 habe ich als Mods lediglich solche, die das Spiel an sich anpassen (Texture packs, overhauls, animationen etc.) und bin so sehr zufrieden und sehe in diesen Mods einen wirklichen Gewinn für das Spiel. Zurück zur Handlung: Diese finde ich leider nicht sehr fesselnd (vor allem im Vergleich zu FO4). Dennoch macht sie Spaß und ist von Vorn bis hinten trotz weniger Entscheidungsmöglichkeiten logisch und fühlt sich (soweit es in einer postapokalyptischen, nuklear verseuchten Welt mit teils unverständlicher Technologie möglich ist) realistisch an.
